Additionally, some people worry that their reputation as being mentally ill or crazy would be ruined by the word "treatment." Lastly, most people fear the beginning of therapy will continue as an everlasting treatment. After reaching out to a therapist and attending the sessions provided, a person will feel relieved for sharing the information and happier, for treatments can help with coping skills, and happiness leads to more productivity (5-long-term-benefits-of-therapy).

Briefly, in order to avoid any outcomes that may arise from not taking care of their mental health, people should seek therapy and treatment when needed. According to data, the majority of people with mental illnesses in their lifetime, about two thirds, or 67%, experienced symptomatic recovery, indicating they no longer met the diagnostic criteria for that illness (Study Finds That People Can Recover and Thrive After Mental Illness and Substance-Use Disorders).
